Taught by local art instructor and comic artist, Todd Tevlin, this course focuses purely on character design and the techniques taught can apply to cartoon or realistic characters. Several principles will be taught, including facial proportions and expressions, character scale, height/weight variations, different profiles, giving expressions to things without a face, exaggeration and body language, color palettes, silhouette comparisons, K.I.S.S. drawings, and ideas on how to make characters unique from one another.

Accepted payments are cash or credit card, and registration is through Todd's website for both. Limited seating, sign up ASAP! NO WALK INs accepted after first session as the skills they'll learn carry over from one day to the next.
