Maureen Brodsky - Oil

Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic, and by George Inness, I paint the natural world. I paint directly from life, en plain air, or in the studio. My work focuses on the transience of life, beauty and fleeting time. There is a moment we want to hold but cannot, and hence a painting can hold a bit of that memory for us.

Maureen Brodsky is a St. Louis artist known for landscape painting and botanical art. Her paintings have been selected for the exhibition at Carnegie Mellon’s Centennial Celebration of its College of Fine Art, the Logan Center at the University of Chicago, the Lancaster Museum of Art, the Harlin Museum and Quincy University.  She is a signature member of the Saint Louis Watercolor Society.  Carnegie Mellon awarded her a B.F.A. and she studied at the Art Students’ League, NYC.

Michelle Graf - Gouache

Michelle Graf is an artist working in Saint Louis, Missouri. She paints with gouache and acrylic gouache, utilizing gestural marks that are then often refined into organic shapes. She loves painting trees and landscapes with a limited color palette.

Timothy K. Hamilton - Oil

I am a painter and photographer published multiple times in books and magazines.  I have a BA in Art, and have partially completed a Master of Fine Arts. Since 2014, I have mostly painted landscapes, but also create “Abstract” artwork.

Kay M. Pick Zivkovich - Monoprints

The landscapes selected are strongly color based. Using color to interpret and transform nature its
beauty both familiar and unfamiliar through direct observation; plein air studies outdoors, documented
photo images and sketches are part of the process. The horizon line provides the creative natural anchor.
These monoprints are “painterly” prints giving color and movement the ability to mirror nature while
reflecting a sensibility to respond to “a moment” in time.
Note: The prints are one-of-a-kind original images created with archival inks on acid-free paper and
professionally framed using archival materials.

Born in Yankton, South Dakota, I attended my first art course at Knox College in
Galesburg, Illinois while completing high school. I earned a B.A. in Art Education, MFA
in Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking, and a M.S. in Higher Education concentrating on
Art Administration from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. I received a grant to
attend the University of the Americas in Toluco, Mexico while completing my
undergraduate degree.
As an artist, I have exhibited work both nationally and internationally. Selected
permanent collections in part include: Inveresk LTD, St. Cuthbert’s Mill, Sommerset, UK,

Gallery in St. Louis, under the directior Eleanor Ruder. I retired in 2019 after serving
Southern Illinois University for 43 years and currently resides in Carbondale with her
husband Zeke and their Fox Terrier, Puccini.

Rosemary Werkmeister - Silver and Stone Jewelry

My jewelry starts with an inspiration from something from Mother Nature such as a flower or rock. I am drawn to the combination of the serenity of the peaceful focus needed to manipulate & form metal and the thrill of soldering together two pieces of metal.  I strive to build elegant showcases with metal to create pleasing pieces of wearable art.  Settings are hand fabricated by cutting and piercing metal and soldering various components into the setting.
