The 3-hour class will cover the following:

• Creating painted papers for collage fodder
• Practice mark making for creating patterns & design on paper
• Using stencils, stamps, and paint pens to embellish collage layers
• Combining semi-transparent and opaque papers for layering
• Creating collages with a limited color palette

The class fee of $65 includes all materials. The collage sketches will be done within 3” square grids on sketchbook pages. The sketchbook will be yours to keep. (Students are welcome to bring magazines, papers, cards, or other personal items for their collages if they wish.)

This is a follow up class to the Art of Mixed Media Collage, but that class is not a prerequisite for taking this class.
No previous drawing or art background is needed.
