Candice Canessa - Oil Painting

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest and living in the central high valley of Costa Rica, the flat rolling plains of north Texas and, now, Missouri has only made my love of the landscape stronger over the years. Oil, acrylic, collage, charcoal or graphite are my mediums. And, although I enjoy working in other genres, emotionally laden landscapes are my joy.

Robin Leibovich - Oil Painting

I am an oil painter in love with color. I feel passionate about pushing the envelope of where representation of the beauty around me meets abstraction and artistic license. I love using the palette knife and experimenting with both scraping and texturing of my thick, velvety, oil paint to create unique canvas and wood spaces.

Kathryn Mitter - Oil Painting

The natural beauty of Missouri inspires my art. I love the challenge of plein air
painting, for the joy of being outdoors and the freshness that results from trying
to capture the moment. The wind, the temperature and the bugs do not easily
deter me. The changing seasons, the effects of light and atmosphere, color and
contrast compel me to paint!
I was born and raised in St. Louis; I am now based in Columbia, Missouri. I
began my art career illustrating children’s books for various publishers
nationwide. Painting is now my passion. My work has received recognition in
many local and region exhibits.
There is abundant beauty in Missouri and I enjoy sharing paintings that may
bring a new perspective to familiar scenes.

Joe Bova Conti - Silver and Stone Jewelry

Joe Bova Conti is a local artist, designer and craftsman.  Joe attended Fontbonne College on an art scholarship beginning in 1975.  He has apprenticed with master jewelers and worked with Native American Craftsman for over 2 decades. All the work here is completely handmade without modern casting tools.  The pieces are cut out, forged, filed, hammered and assembled into wearable pieces of art.  Each piece is individually made by Joe. The inspiration for his pieces can be found in nature.  Many pieces are reminders of landscapes and the beauty of our world.  Joe has traveled extensively through the United States and Europe.  The stones used are all natural and from ethically sourced locations all over the globe, some being quite rare and all unique.
