Open Studio Art Classes with Arleana Holtzmann

Join me for my first ever Open Studio at Green Door Art Gallery—a welcoming space where artists of all experience levels can work on their own projects, connect with other creatives, and enjoy dedicated time to create.
No prior experience is necessary. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the very first time or you’re an experienced artist looking for studio space and creative camaraderie, you’ll find a place here. As a professional working artist, I’ll be available throughout the evening to answer questions, offer feedback, and provide one-on-one guidance in composition, values, color mixing, color theory, and technique whenever you need it. If you’d rather work independently, you’re welcome to simply enjoy the company of fellow artists and create at your own pace.
Bring your own art supplies and a reference photo or inspiration image for the project you’d like to work on. You can work in any medium of your choice including watercolor, acrylic, oil, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, soft pastel, or oil pastel. All are welcome.
Date: Thursday, August 6
Time: 6:00–9:00 PM
Location: Green Door Art Gallery, Webster Groves
Additional dates available on select Thursdays through November. Choose the schedule that works best for you, from a single class for $35 to a monthly membership at $20 a class.
Space is limited to 12 participants so everyone has room to create and receive individual attention.
Whether you’re looking to learn something new, build a consistent creative practice, receive feedback on your work, or simply enjoy an evening creating alongside other artists, I’d love to welcome you to Open Studio.
