Fortune Cookie Greeting Cards began from my love of Asian

culture, philosophy, literature, film, music, food and art.  (and I lived above a Chinese restaurant in Chicago and I have owned 3 shih tzu dogs!) Gigi is my current dog, who sits on my lap while I create cards.

While living in Japan and working as a jazz musician, 

I frequented the paper and stationary stores and began making cards.

I returned to the U.S. and began a successful handmade greeting card business. But later I had to set it aside and focus on teaching piano.

I relaunched my cards in 2024. Some of my cards are still handmade, and others are letterpress printed.

I am excited to share my love of paper and fortunes with all of you!
