Pat Tuholske - Wild Wreaths
For over four decades Pat Tuholske has crafted wreaths in harmony with Nature. Wild native plants are gathered with Earth-honoring ethics at her Ozark Sanctuary…sustainably collected, never over-harvested. Herbs are grown organically and in their natural ecological niche. The whole process of wildcrafting is her passion … hunting the wild plants, growing flowers, harvesting bundles, weaving wreaths. Pat feels blessed to be able to do her work in partnership with these gifts of the wild.
Her Wild Wreaths are crafted from Ozark native grasses, wayside weeds, wildflowers, tree bark, lichen, moss, seeds, cones, feathers and everlasting flowers … promptly dried after harvest to maintain color and durability. They are environmental works of art containing only natural materials. As she weaves these gifts of the wild, she envisions each as a healing portal into Nature…. a pathway lit by the eternal flame of spirit. Each one tells a story of a niche in Nature … a deep moment of connection with the spirit of place.
